With years of experience in youth and community work behind her, Hannah has established the work of LSET in the community and local schools with the support of Christian charity Scripture Union and in partnership with TLG. Hannah lived in Newton Heath for 16 years and has recently moved to a neighbouring area with her husband and two children.

Previously minister of a local church, Derek and his wife Maureen have lived in Newton Heath for over four decades and have been involved in many community initiatives during that time. They experience first hand the issues faced by residents of an inner city community. Maureen & Derek are involved in establishing and developing the work of LSET.

Volunteers
Our volunteers come from the local church community and support the work in Early Intervention Coaching, Open the Book, Lessons and Workshops in school and at our after school sessions.
